Research Proposal Template: Structure and Examples

The proposal template of a thesis or dissertation covers all the important and essential parts of a strong research proposal. The template includes an effective explanation of the information that you need to explain in each and every section of your research, thesis, or dissertation, and it also includes examples and links to effective resources.

Introduction 

This is the first element of the research that includes the basic introduction of your research, background of your research, aims, research objectives, research questions, and research problems, which are also included in this section of the research proposal.

Literature Review

This is the second important element of a research proposal, which includes previous research and works on the selected topic for your research or dissertation. 

Research Design or Methodology

The third element of a research proposal is the research design or methodology that you use in your research or dissertation. This methodology is an effective and important element, and the whole research project is based on it. The methodology also explains the data collection methods that you use for the collection of data in your research.

Project Plan

The fourth important element of a research proposal is the project plan. In this section, all the requirements of resources are described, as well as the risk management strategies that are used by the researcher in his research, dissertation, or thesis. This section also explains all the discussions and findings of the research, and this section is the most important section of the whole research process.

References

The next part of a research proposal is the references. It includes all the references that you used in your research, and citations of the references are also essential according to the data or information taken from the exact article. 

Appendix

The last element of the research proposal template is the appendix, which includes all the important information about the abbreviations used in the research and also includes that information, which is additional information and does not need to be included in the upper sections; that information is also included in this section.
